hey guys I have been looking for this for a little bit and just want to double check. In about 2 weeks I will be lifting my XJ to a 6.5 lift. I am swapping in a 8.8 rear end and I also plan to rebuild TC and install SYE kit while I am at it. My questions are...

1. Will a auto XJ front shaft work for rear on 6.5 lift length wise
2. IF yes, Can the front shaft mount to the stock 8.8 yoke mount flange

Because I would like to carry a spare that will fit both front and rear, and if the stock 8.8 yoke flange will work I can get my hands on a handle full from a guy from work for next to nothing so I can just mount one to the spare as well to make things even easier in case or replacement.


Also does anyone know if I need to replace the Proportioning Valve for the brakes sense I am going from stock Dana35 drum to 8.8 disc?
