8.8 factory ls isnt much better than being open.. not worth the trouble.. get a lunchbox for a couple hundred. Whats ur needs... y is a ls so important anyway?

Just seems like a waste of a few hours for no good pay out. Sell the 3.73 axle on cl. Make 100-150 on it and save up for a real locker.

if you got each axle for $75 cant you pull a couple shafts for super cheap?
where are you finding 8.8's for that cheap in CA anyway?? I cant pull one for less than $280 at PnP
you can sell it for $150 easy keeping it for shafts is crazy talk

pnp in had 50% off all axles. plus i kinda harass em to take some price off for taking off calipers and discs and other minor things.

cheapest i can get them here in CA is 100 bucks a pop, complete disc to disc. half off sales are the key
