I swapped in a 8.25 axle from a 96 Classic into my 89 XJ.. everything went smoothly until I went to connect the emergency break lines.. They do not reach?
Has anyone else run into this issue?
Also... does anyone have any pictures on how they ran the break lines along the axle? I have to replace mine, I have the axle installed already.
Is it easier to install while installed or should I pull it back out?
I am also using Ruff Stuff spring plates (these things are massive) so I wasn't sure exactly how to run the lines around/over them..

Well the hard lines just run across the top of the housing, from the Brake line Tee-Block, on the Left side. As for the E-brake, How much too short is the cable? I thought they were the same. If its close, Maybe you just put in a longer adjuster Bolt.
