8.25 Shafts/carrier question
So I recently put 35s on my Jeep and am gonna be looking at upgrading my axles a bit. I've got the 27 spline 8.25 in the rear and was wondering if it's possible to get some 29 spline shafts and drop in a 29 spline lunchbox locker without changing the carrier. If I do I will probably just go to the yard and pull a later model axle an swap it.
And the other question: Should I go with Alloy USA or Ten factory shafts?

You'll need a new carrier...or will need to get your current one machined out to accommodate the new shafts.
And from what I remember, the guy that started Ten Factory was one of the higher-ups at Alloy but left due to changes he wasn't happy with (and kept his shaft suppliers). He even covered Alloy's 10-year warranty after they had decided to stop honoring it before eventually being bought up by Omix. I went with Ten Factory shafts front and rear last summer.

Thanks. Ten is a lot cheaper than Alloy USA too. Looks like I'll probably just swap a newer axle in then.
