You could probably sell me the locker for $100

 

If you have an 89 you most assuredly do not have a C8.25. If you have an 8.25 it is c-clipped.


If you have a Dana 35. I have no idea how strong the Dana 35 is. The locker is tough but the axle IDK. I have a C8.25 and I have abused it on 31s. I haven't really had the chance to abuse it all that much on 32 inch swampers since I cut them after the first ride.

 

Thats right my 8.25 came out of a 97 lol dont know what I was thinking

97+ all have 29 spline if i remember correctly.

In any case a d30 locker will not work in c8.25 its clipped or D35 clipped.

Im not suggesting that anyone do what I have done either unless they are not risking anything.

Ie op u have the locker already. I would attempt the install. If you are fimlure with pulling a carrier out. You will have to remove the carrier to attempt the install.

 

Ya I think I'll give it a try. I was gunna pull the locker to sell it anyways so might as well give it a shot
