Alright first off I apologize if this is a stupid question, i have not done a whole lot of differential work and I have searched all over without being 100% certain on an answer.
As the title says, I want to swap axle shafts in an 8.25. It's a 95 so it has 27 spline shafts, and I want the 29 spline. What's all required to do this swap and what should all be done?
Also, once I swap shafts would I be ok to use a locker that is designed for 29 spline axle? Just want to be 100% sure and get as much info as possible being diff work isn't something to mess up.
Thanks guys!

what I get from a quick look the carrier needs to be machined to match the 29 carrier and new bearings ring and pinion and set up new gears I think I would look for a whole 8.25 29 spline axle check this one out http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1078828

As said a lunch box such as Spartan or lokka doesn't replace the carrier. I'm pretty sure you just get a 29 spline carrier and shafts but you're probably best off swapping a new axle in unless you're regearing it at the same time.
