Thank you. I found something before I bought my XJ saying they switched somewhere in the 98 production, but I haven't been able to find it again.Originally Posted by no rdplz

Made a Saturday trip to pick n pull and managed to get 4 703's I guess i'll have to make another trip in a few weeks. I hope by then some more Neon's take a crap and end up there.

Late 98 has a chance of getting the other connection. But most do have the earlier one.Originally Posted by no rdplz
They switched to the ev6 connection at the start of 99 production. 87-98's have the ev1 connection.

So they only have 4 injectors and we have 6 so that means I have to find 2 differnt cars to get them from?
stock are 1 hole
703s are 4 hole, which allow for better fuel atomization and better throttle response
think of the difference between a squirt gun and a mist

You have to find the right 4 banger even in the years that said had the 703's. I was coming acrossed 740's in alot of neons and stratus with the 2.0 engine 95-97. The 740's look the same but shorter.Originally Posted by 98xj4.0

Just picked up a set of 6 - 703 injectors. My '91 XJ currently has orange-top injectors. Are the orange tops stock? Or were they upgraded previously? I have not taken the time to pull one, and probably won't until I am ready to install the upgrades.

No problems there. They are practically engineered to crap out, no shortage of broke down Neon's anywhere.Originally Posted by Sidewinder69
