Default 4lo not working. Need bracket?

Well I would search for a related post if I knew what the name of this bracket was...

Its the bracket that makes your 4lo work if there isn't enough room for your lever to push it back. If anyone that knows what I am talking about could first of all tell me the name of it and point me in the right direction to get one.

Thanks

Don't know, where is it located? Underneath in the linkage to the transfer case? Or is it in the cab? When my shifter went, I got a junkyard special for 12.00, pretty easy fix as mine was just a busted spring on the handle.

If your t-case dropped down too far while you were doing your install, then the lil "ball" just popped out of socket. Hopefully the retainer that holds the ball wasn't damaged. It is a little difficult to just pop right back in. I had to remove the 4 nuts and bolts that hold the linkage to the floor pan hump and then use a screwdriver shaft to pry against the linkage that is connected to the ball to pop it back in. There are several ball and socket locations on the shifter linkage and can somewhat easily be seen with a good flashlight and some looking and feeling around. After reinstalling it, then it might be necessary to adjust the set screw (set bolt) coming off of the shifter ( underneath the vehicle).

no the joint isn't popped out. A guy told me he bout this bracket from Rancho so it extended the lever or something, im kind lost on the whole idea. All I know is it mounts to the frame I think, its really small

Its a bracket I allow you to shift in 4lo if your not able to after you lift the heep, because there isnt enough room for the shift to come back before it hits the cut out in the body for the shifter.
