Default 410 gears and 33s any one have this combo?

I am wanting to go to 33 1250s and have a chance to get 410 gears for free ...would they be enough to keep as close to '' factory gearing'' or they to tall for 33s

If a 5spd, 4.10 will be good. If Auto 4.56 would be better.

So according to your chart, my 33 inch 4:10 axled rig is at the sweet spot for me to run down the Highway at 70 MPH and 2150 RPM.

That's just how I`ve found it. I have no inclination to go to higher gears and the +$1000 figure it would set me back to change them.

And before any of you start on about the price, I live in Canada. Take your price and add 50% because of greedy vendors and even more greedy politicians taxing us like it we`re all perpetual money machines.

lol I agree. 4.10 with 33s is like 3.55 and 31s, it feels fine but if you spend more time off the highway and on trails you'll wish you had 4.56.

exactly how i feel about my 4.10s/33s. the only reason i got 4.10s was because i bought a cheep donnor swapped out the axles and resold it for what i paid for it plus 600$+ in parts. other wise i would have geared it 4.56 since i dont plan on 35's(even thou i want them)

The expensive part of regearing isn't buying the gears. Having a reputable shop install them is where it'll cost you. I was on 33's with my 4.56 & it rode nice. Before that I had stock gearing with 33's. If you're gonna mostly DD it you'll probably be okay. I'd say if you're gonna wheel it go 4.56. Take the 4.10's sell them on Craigslist & buy the 4.56 gears.

4.10's with 33's instead of the 4.56's would be equal to a stock XJ size tire and going from the 3.55 stock gear to a 3.07 gear.

Personally I would hate to drive my I6 Brick 33x12:50x15's with 4.10's, but what do I know
