4 1/2" lift with stock steering
I bent one stock tie rod on 235/75-15 tires, but I wheel my Jeep hard. So far my current stock tie rod is holding up to 33x9.5's pretty well, but I don't trust it. I have Serious Offroad 1 ton UTK steering waiting to go on, and an RE adjustable track bar already on mine, I shouldn't have any more issues with steering for a while.

I dropped it off at 4 wheel parts today to inspect the steering I've been having alignment issues and other shops can't figure it out.
So they called me earlier saying my upper arms need to be replaced and there's alot of play in my tie rods and my balljoints are a bit loose. Now I was expecting a list of problems coming from a shop but had anyone else had this issue or similar?
Oh and he said I don't need an adjustable trac bar the stock one I have is just fine. I thought that was a bit odd..

4 wheel parts eh? Unless your bushings are worn on your upper control arms, stockers should be fine at 4 1/2"
Ball joints and tie rod ends are wear items and can go bad over time. If there's play in them, they should be replaced.
Track bar is still the first thing that should be addressed. Stock is definitely not fine at 4.5"

At 4.5" you don't NEED UCA's. You do however NEED an adjustable track bar. They set your toe in to 1/8" and drive. If you have camber issues it's gonna be ball joints.

If your tires stick out further on one side vs the other, you can disconnect the track bar from the axle and push up and down on the suspension a few times, crawl back under and try to realign the track bar with it's original mounting hole. Usually if you gain close to 4.5" of real lift, the stock track bar falls 3/4" short of the original hole and can be redrilled. But an adjustable TB is the best choice
