Default 4.0L engine swap quick question

I'm swapping a 4.0L from a 95 cherokee into an 88 cherokee (originally had the 4.0), and have a quick question about pulling the donor engine

Should i pull the wiring harness with the engine? Or should i pull the engine and wiring harness separately?

Thanks!

pull it separately. cause part of it goes in to the fire wall and up under the dash right behind the motor.

Im not sure about jeeps, but on my mustangs yr 87-93, the engine harness un-plugs from the main harness making 1990 -1993 4cyl to 5.0 swaps easier that frying an egg!! It was all plug-n-play!!! At any rate, just be concious of your harness, what ya need and dont need! Goodluck!
