Valve springs are the problem when adding a cam. Anything over 0.440-0.445" lift will require different valve springs. You will also need different length push rods. And then you have to 'break in' the cam which can fail and ruin the cam and engine.
Adding a cam is a lot of work.
Pulling the head for a replacement head is a lot of work.
62mm TB- there are guys on ebay who sell them.
Harland Sharp 1.7:1 roller rockers are about $400 and do the same as a mild cam and install in about 1 hour. Uses stock cam, valve springs and push rods.
