IF you're lucky. I did mine in a professional shop so I had access to all the tools imaginable, but the stud extractor would eat through the stud before it turned it.

Sometimes they come out, sometimes they don't.

I didn't use a torch to install the lift, but I HAD to heat up the metal around the x-member stud in order to get it out, and even then it was still very sketchy.

One of my studs snapped putting in the tcase drop so I ended up putting bolts and new holes from the drop into the unibody then another one from the drop to the cross member.

I am trying to prep for failure.
I am planning on getting some Bar Pin Eliminators for the rears.
1) What bolts or method of attach should I plan to employ when my upper shock bolts break off?
2) TC drop has me a bit nervous. Also need a good plan of attack.
Lastly I need source whatever missing parts, tools I might need in case either breaks because this is my DD so if I don't have it when I start - I'm stuck.

Use some 1 1/2 inch 5/16 grade 8 bolts with nuts and lock washers if you snap the upper shock mount bolts. I used an air hammer to punch out the welds and fished the bolts (wrapped in wire) thru the triangle shaped openings on either side of the shock mount. Sounds like a PITA but really took 10 minutes after all said and done.
