Thanks for all the great info guys. Can't wait to get these things installed. Do i need to run any special gear oil with the locker? I have found mixed opinions online. Some folks say heavier oil is better than origional spec. What do y'all run?

No you dont need anything special for it. I run the thicker stuff in mine. I think its 75w-140. I couldnt tell any difference from the thinner stuff. It still clicks just as loud in turns.

I run 85w140 gear oil in mine and they are quiet, the only time you can hear it clicking is when you are coasting around a corner with the windows up and the radio off, you have to be listening for it to hear it. I can feel the front locker slightly when I make a real sharp turn in a parking lot, it basically feels like a bad U-joint. Other than that they have very good street manners and work great off road.
