I've kind of got 33"s in my mind as the be-all/end-all of my build. I'll be sitting at 3.5" soon, and I have been planning on cutting my fenders to allow for some fancy Notch Custums flares. Now I'm wondering if I need to rein in my asperations and settle for 32's, since I really don't want to go any higher with my lift.
Sorry if I'm hijacking a thread here. Just kind of wondering if I'll be capable off road with 3.5, 33's, and cut fenders. (To say nothing of re-gearing concerns, etc.)

Agree though 33s and a 3" is a good set up. You also have to look at what type of trails will be ran. There are a decent amount of trails here in Colorado that a low cog would not be fun to run.

With a good suspension setup and a 3" lift and the bump stops setup just to keep things from hitting that shouldn't. At full flex I still got into the fenders/bumper/seam in fender well seems like some others also but this was with "31x10:50x15's wheel 15x8" with 3 3/4" BS.
If you plan on getting all you can out of the dollars you have invested in tire's, lift and all that go with them you "MUST TRIM" really no way around it. That is unless you bump stop it so you have very little flex.
