Default 33s on 3.5 inch full suspension

What do I need to add/modify to fit 33 inch tires on my 3.5 inch full suspension XJ?

A sawz-all. Cut until you no longer rub. Bump stops would also be a good idea.

Would getting wheel spacers help with rubbing?

only on your LCA'S when your turning, just get wheels with less backspacing

Bumpstops. I believe I could have put my 33's on my Jeep with no trimming if I had gone with a 3-3.5" lift and bumpstopped properly. I didn't have to trim much at all to fit them on my 1.5" lift.

The amount of trimming needed to fit 33s isn't bad and still allows one to remount the factory flares a little higher.

At least on the earlier models.

You need 3.75 backspacing (or wheel spacers), you'll need to trim the flares a bit, and you probably want to bumpstop properly.

I am running 3.5" RE leafs and coils, and trackbar with Upper and Lower teraflex adjustable arms , Bilstein 5100 shocks , Crown steel braided brake lines on my Xj with 33x10.50's on 15x8's with 3.75" backspacing. I trimmed my fenders and extended my front bumpstops on my rig. Mine does not rub at all.

So what you are saying is that it looks even more beautiful in person. Its one of the nicest wheeling Jeeps on here, dont be so humble.

Its a combo of your Jeep and the beautiful places you get to wheel. I have never even seen scenery like that, let alone wheel it.
