same size tire on 3" in the front and about 2" in the rear, no trimming and I rub just a bit while flexing. rub on the lcas at full lock but i'm also on stock wheels.
you'll be good with a little bit of trimming.

You could run a 32 with stock flares no problem. I have stock "trimmed" flares and running 36x12.50 and 4.5in of lift. It will flex about another 8+inches easy in the bottom picture. Shocks are 32in long lol

Lift should not be a consideration when your looking at tire size.
Its simple. ANYTHING over a 30-31 in tire and you will need to trim fenders to achieve full flex. Or you can bump stop.
Say you don't want to cut your fenders. So you buy 32's and a 5.5" lift. There is no difference between no lift and 5.5 in of lift as far as tire size and fender trimming. Unless your 5.5" lift is limiting your travel because its so stiff. You still would need to trim the edges of the fenders for full articulation.
Lift is simply where you want your jeep to ride at.
Your lca's have a total amount of up and down travel. More lift just means they will ride further down in their travel. Working properly they still should move the same up and down no matter the lift. I ground down my lca's so they would drop even further.
Want 35's? You need to trim the fenders to clear a 35" tire. Whether 6” of lift or 2” of lift.
