Default 3 options for small lift-help me choose

Hi everyone. Please read it all if you can. I know its long but i hope i explain everything. So it is time to replace my leaf springs. I bought my 99 about 8 months ago and have known the springs were going out. There is currently a budget boost with shackles and spacers. I have 3 options I am considering. 1, get what I originally planned and buy old man emu 2 inch kit. 2, buy the rustys 3 inch advanced kit. 3, buy stock coils and leafs and spend the extra on some great shocks and a better budget boost. Now some info. I love the look of the stock cherokee. I do not want a big lift. Only do mild dirt roads. I also am going to stick with 235s for the foreseeable future so fitting tires isn't a problem for me. I could always trim if I did go bigger tires. What do you guys think? I have heard great stuff about ome but the ride quality isn't such a big deal to me. I have flat leafs and rough country shocks and I have no deal with it.

I would go old man emu and piece it together instead of buying a kit to save a little dough

If your shackles are lifted, I would invest in new leaf springs, shocks (front and rear), and get an alignment.

You can basically piece together what you want from rocky road outfitters. Idk if I would get the ome shocks or save for bilsteins.

Yeah the shackles are lifted ones. I think rough country since that is what the shocks are. If I went this route, I woukd want shackles that are greaseable

I have 1000 set aside right now. I would need a little more for the combo of ome and bilsteins

I have the Rusty's 3" Advanced with Forged Flex U/LCAs. I am very happy with the kit. It is recommended to add a SYE with a 3" lift (or above), which I did, as I believe it's an upgrade to the stock setup. Many people seem to have had good results with a transfer case drop, but I believe these reduce clearance, negating the lift somewhat.

Shop around. Springs are less than $200, leafs are $350, bilsteins are $350.

I like the kit for $1000 but it says you need more. What else is needed?

I was in the same boat with my 'O1 XJ. Ended up going with the 1.5 OME Kit form Quadratrac. Actually got 2.25 of lift. Didn't want to mess with a SYE, this truck only goes on the beach. Really love the way it looks and drives. Stuffed some 265's underneath. they do rub the LCA at full lock.
