Default 3" lift wobble

I know there are tons of threads about "death" wobble but the results seem to vary.
I installed a 3 inch rough country on my 00, same tires and get what i think people refer to as a death wobble at 50 to 70 mph. how can i fix this?... what happening!

Irregular movement, have someone turn the steering wheel back and forth and look for any non smooth movement, I know it sounds vague but you will notice it when you see it, something like up and down movement as well.

Does this apply if the body slightly moves the opposite direction that you slightly turn the wheel as well? I was told my tracbar probably needs to be replaced because of this. I also have vibrations from 30-35 mph and then again at highway speeds but, it settles down when I am not accellerating. Any ideas and/or help would be greatly appreciated.

To the OP, if you can drive with your 'wobble' then it is most likely not death wobble. DW is only stopped by slowing down. After any suspension change the alignment needs to be checked and addressed accordingly. Drive line vibrations can be solved with a transfer case drop or a slip yoke kit.

That most definitely sounds like the trac bar bushings and/or TRE are worn. I would start there and see if the speed specific vibes go away. If not have the wheel balance checked as well as check the steering components.

Thanks for the reply, I would think that if it was front suspension related, I would feel something in the steering. Am I wrong with this assumption?
Just want to be sure I'm looking in the right direction if possible to get this corrected.
So, what would be a good tracbar to use as a replacement or can you just replace the ends?

This is a very bad tie rod end. the hole should be a circle not an oval
and you can tell from the pic but it is way too loose
and check your steering stabilizer too, if you can move it with little resistance it is no good
edit: pulled this off my jeep this afternoon, along with a new steering stabilizer no dw

You would feel it in the steering wheel if its front end related. Any quality OEM replacement should work fine, Moog is a popular choice but you tend to pay for the name. Check Rockauto.com they have great prices and fast shipping.

That's what I thought about feeling it in the steering and I'm not getting it in the steering. It's a vibration like riding on those vibrations strips on the side of a highway to wake you up but, not in the steering just through the vehicle.

That definitely sounds like a driveline vibe. Either that or your front hub bearings or ujoints are on the way out.
