Lift it, drive it. Correct it if you arent happy. Without any sarcasm I hope it all works to your liking.

This is true I agree no disrespect meant.

A TC Drop Kit is a temporary fix I ran one for a yr. with a 3" lift before my SYE and paid for it with having to replace both engine and transmission mounts. Also believe it caused the u-joint to fail early but can't prove it for sure.

Basically they are made cheap so they can be sold cheap. I have first hand experience on drop kits causing more problems. This isn't something I've read or heard from the grape vine. I personally ran one with my 4 inch lift when it was a street Queen and had nothing but problems. I do now wheel my jeep but only because I had problems with motor mounts and such with the drop kit. And for the rough country, I personally ran a 3 inch RC lift on a xj I used to drive and the only offroading that saw was mudding. Never any rock crawling or anything. In the year I owned it, I had to replace control arm bushings too. Other companies out there sell more expensive kits because they are made better. That's my $.02. Take it how you want but take it from a guy who has been there done that a time or two.

4" lift is NOT a 3" lift.

Thank you. I didn't know they were different. I was simply stating. A street jeep if its 3 inch lifted of 4 inch lifted. Its not much of a difference and drop kits cause problems. To the op... run what you want but I do not want to go on here and see you post in a year that you are needing to replace motor mounts, u joints and trans mount because you didn't take anyone's advice. That is all.
