Hey guys,
Soon I am going to be investing in a lift and some new wheels for my 92 briarwood that's pretty much bone stock. I am aiming for lift that will still give me a nice smooth ride and is mainly for making the ole briarwood look a little bit more aggressive. I was thinking about the OME full spring lift but is it really worth the money?
Anyway, if you guys could post some pics if your xjs if your have a similar set up and give me your opinion on your lift I would really appreciate it.
Thanks!
Here's how she sits now with the old saggy stock suspension

OME 2.5":
OME Shocks, OME Steering Stabiliser, OME Leaf Springs, OME D-22XL AALs, OME Coils, and OME 10mm Coil Spacer.

Ride quality is unsurpassed by any other brand. The reason why I didn't go with Rough Country, Zone, Skyjacker, or other off-brands (IMO) was that fact that this is the height I want my Jeep to sit at for the next few years as I finish up college. For the price, I could've gotten a decent 3.5" lift kit, but I knew that I wouldn't be getting the best quality out there IMO. Plus I didn't want to run 31s because on my last Jeep, which ran 31s on 3.5", that is where I noticed power loss as well as a little more MPG loss. I could run 31s with this set-up, but then I would have to bump stop, trim, etc. I wanted a more aggressive stock looking Jeep and I think I achieved this by going OME. It took me a little longer to save up for the OME kit, but I believe it is well worth it. You will not be disappointed/second guess yourself if you go the OME route.

Not a complete kit. They sell Shocks and Leaf Springs for 3.5". My plan is to add ACOS up front, OME Nitrocharger Sport Shocks, and either a 1" JKS shackle to my current OME leaf spring back or just purchase the 3.5" OME leaf spring back.
Again ARB/OMEs stuff is expensive, but quality and longevity is unsurpassed.

I love how your xj sits with that lift and tires. how much did you end up spending on the entire lift package?
my last xj was very similar to yours. 97 SE in the patriot blue

As for entire lift package, I spent $1,015.12. That is including everything as well as the OME D-22XLs. Again, this is how I plan to keep it for quite sometime so I can justify spending that amount on a superb suspension lift. With the addition of skid plates and rock rails, this will be quite a capable rig if need be.
