Default 3" front 4" rear?????

A brief overview.

I have an IRO lift and BB kit. I am installing my lift this weekend. I was wondering if i could go 3" front and 4" out back. I have 235 duratracs and won't be using my 31's. The reason i am not doing the full lift is because i don't have the money to get a track bar and i just want to get this thing lifted allready. so i figured i will install the rest of it when i can get another set of 31's and a tracbar.

Is this ok to use on a DD. I like the raked look anyway.
also if i can do this do you guys think i'll need the t/c drop kit right now.

obtw. what size are the leaf spring bolts. i am not sure if i have the size i need in a wrench.
well what do ya's think???
thankyou.

Why arent u going to use ur 31s? Its gonna look pretty funny runing 235s... U can try just redrilling ur tracbar... As far as a tcase drop goes every rig is different but ull prob need it.

well the 31's are a long story but i no longer have them which makes the tracbar irrelevant. it would def look stupid with the full lift and 235's. but the 3" with the 235's; i think will look ok since they are a mud/snow terrainan aggressive tread.

i was just wondering about the extra 1" in the rear. I figured since the front is allready 1/2" taller than the rear stock, that the overall height with the rear and the extra inch, would put it at 3.5 rear after settling occurs. or am i wrong?

the rear would gain the extra inch through shackles, fyi.

At 4" in the rear you will probably need a tcase drop. I'm at 3.5" front and 4-4.25" in the rear. I run 235's alot of the time when i travel because i get much better gas mileage, worn out 31's for fun.

Size of the tire isnt important with the need for a trackbar or not. I ran stock trackbar for a while at 3.5" and it sucked big time. Either redrill the mount or buy a track bar
