Default 3/4ton 44 vs. 1/2ton 44

So is my r&p in my 3/4ton dana44 different from a standard 1/2ton d44? Im thinking they are the same and ANY reverse cut d44 gears and install kits will work... right?

The only diff between a 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton Dana 44 is not in the Dana 44 but in the spring rate and rear axle. All reverse rotation Dana 44 gears should fit it.

Housing on 3/4 has a little more webbing and is slightly thicker but gears are the same. Shafts on some 3/4 ton versions are a different length so if you plan on running chromos or break one measure before you buy a replacement.
