Default 2wd to 4wd

Been told a lot of things, thought I would check with you guys for the real info. I have a 99 Cherokee sport 4d 2wd that I want to convert to 4wd. what do I need to know about mine and what do I need to get for bolt up parts and from what years will work. I have been looking for other cherokee 4wd but have yet to find one good enough that is affordable or at least as good as mine.

Front axle (92-99 are your better options, 95+ have bigger u joints)
Tranny from a 98-01 tranny and t case
Driveshafts

Not a hard swap to do. Wonder how I know.

Converted my 99 XJ. It's really simple and you might as well throw in a SYE while you have the transfer case separated from the trans. Couple
Hundred bucks and you can basically install the SYE, seal the Tcase and add new fluid.

Thanks guys, that's what I'm looking for. Read some things about wiring for tranny and fuel injection. Anything there I need to know?

If you get a tranny from a 98-01 there won't be a problem with anything. Unplug the stuff on your 2wd, get the sensors and stuff on the 4wd and plug them in. Good to go.

See if you can find a parts jeep cheap,Look for something with no title or rear ended that still runs.
