242 SYE - 2000 classic
Anyone know where I can get the Yoke for the 242 hack and tap for cheap? Already have the slip joint shaft. Im seeing ironrock sells the yoke, but for $119. Kinda pricey. Also see RE selling the flange for $100. But just curious if there is a better, cheaper way for my 2000?
Any Advise?

My question is if there is a cheaper yoke out there that will work, say from another car or another XJ? USMCJeeper told me to try to find one from an Cryco 8.25 at the junk yard that mats up. Otherwise, is RC and Ironrock the only options for the late model NP242?

I have a rebuilt front DS, the tap and drill bit. I actually bought it from USMCJeeper. He was supposed to ship a yoke with it and failed to follow through on that. So All I need is the yoke that will work with the tail shaft, on a late model 242 once I hack it.

I know he is a vendor on some forums and provides an additional 10% off.

Keep in mind the OP has a late model transfer case with the external slip yoke, no need for a tail cone or seal. I did find another source for just the yoke but they wanted $119 and probably more for shipping. Link above seems like the best deal I've seen so far.
