235/85/16 tires?
Anyone running 235/85/16 tires on a 97+ Cherokee? How much lift with them? Trimmed fenders? Stock, or lower gears? How does the weight compare to a 31/10.50/15 or a 33/10.50/15, as far as how it feels on stock gears as far as acceleration, etc?
From what I understand, a 235/85/16 is about a 32/9.50 in standard measurements. Most of the ones I have seen are E rated tires, so that could be a minus. My thinking was that this size would offer a little more clearance/height, but being skinnier than the usual 31/10.50 would help with the weight, rolling mass, rubbing control arms, etc. Anyway, if anyone has any thoughts, pass them along. Thanks.
