231 from a auto to a standard trans

231 from a auto to a standard trans
I have 88 cherokee with a auto trans for parts. Does this 231 transfer case bolt on a 94 with a ax15 trans? Also I am swapping front end and rear end to make the 94 a 4x4, Would you guys just swap ring and pinions in the rear end or swap the hole thing. I know i will have to either swap to a 4x4 tranny or just change the output shaft ? correct. Would like any input on this swap,Thanks.
