Default 2021 gladiator wheels to xj

search function not being kind to me
putting 255/75 /17 tires with 2021 Gladiator wheels on my xj . Currently have 31/10.5/15 on stock wheels with a 3'' lift . I know I need an adapter for 4.5 - 5 on 5 ..I am using an 1 1/2 spacer now to keep from scrubbing on full lock . Trying to find info on this switch to see if 1 1/2 '' adapter will work . Thanks for any help that will keep me from looking through a brazillion posts .

These are the wheels I'm running with 1 1/2 adapters but my do rub the lower control arms at full lock but I'm using 265/70 R17 tire , with 1 1/2 adapters my wheels don't stick out so no tickets for that .

The knuckles have stops bolted to them, one per knuckle. There are little nubs on the axle where they touch. Using a longer stop may help with the rubbing at full lock. Ive never done it, but sounds doable. Turning radius will increase a bit tho. How much i have no idea. Nor what threads those stops use.
