Default 2001 XJ sport Headliner help!!

Allright I removed my old headliner because it was starting to fail. Got new headlining and adhesive and started the project. Cleaned her up real good and started glueing. Started at the front and worked my way back. Got to the speaker enclosures and was like WTF??? The headliner will not conform to the speaker forms. Any Ideas?

That sucks. I might end up cutting the Headliner a few inches before the enlcosures and adding some kind of thick fabric and securing both it and the Headliner together with some kinda flat metal.....

Yeah I had that problem. Fortunately the headliner I bought has a pattern so it hides the wrinkles well. All in all I am happy with it. Sucks it doesnt stretch around the speaker pods but what ya gonna do?

You know the other thing that I found while doing this is a computer board inside my interior light. This did not attach to anything at all. I have no idea what this is. It was just screwed into the fixture.

if the computer board was attached to the front light or on the overhead console then it is for the keyless entry. Either your missing the harness or some one swapped in a light that had the keyless entry option and didnt remove the circut board.

Yeah, when I went to plug it in it locked and unlocked my doors. Wish I knew how to get ahold of 1-a fob, and 2- the right frequency!!!
