Default 2000 XJ Sport Cruise Control

Well I lost my 2000 XJ to a 16 year old girl that ran a red light. Now I am in the market for another one. I found a 2000 Classic with 112K. But no cruise control. Has anyone installed cruise on their xj, using OEM stuff or aftermarket stuff. I sometimes drive 60 miles each way on the interstate and cruise sure would make it comfortable.

It's bolt on plug and play with the right parts. Best to find a 2000 XJ in the JY with CC and take the steering wheel, clockspring, servo and cable. Just plumb in the vacuum and your good to go. We just did it this last week for only $50 with our '98 XJ using a WJ steering wheel, WJ clockspring modified to fit the XJ, and '96 XJ servo. Works great. There is a 'kit' on ebay for $599 that includes all new parts- XJ steering wheel, buttons, clockspring, servo and cable. You don't need new.
