You be surprise how easy when you get hold of the gear wrench.

Did you say the second bold from the back on the bottom? Long story short in all my times getting intakes off of XJs in junkyards I only had a problem once and that was on one with after market exhaust on it. Because of the odd curve of the "header" you simply could not go straight in on it with ANY tool I had. Had to use a flat ratchet wrench to get in there on that bolt. Not saying that is your problem but it sounds like what I ran in to.

Where is your gasket?

It's like "Invisalign" for headers.

I don't use gaskets. They are for suckers!

Actually that photo was taken during my test fit. I have a gasket on there now.

No luck on the actual gear wrench. But I found a craftsman version. I'll give it a try.

Same thing bro.
You are all set!
Oh, 9/16? I was pretty sure they were metric.

No need to "hope".

Just make sure you take some pics so others can benefit.

I love the brown dog motor mounts. Great price. Great people great product. They went in super easy. Everything lined up perfectly, I highly recommend them. I'm looking for a new transmission mount now. Not sure if they make those or not. If they do, I will own one.

I freakin got it! Man gear wrenches are awesome! Thanks for all the help! BEERS FOR EVERYONE!!

I ended up shoving the bolt and washer into the wrench with a shop towel to hold it. Then reached in from the front with a long screwdriver and applied pressure to the head of the bolt while turnin the wrench. The wrench is still currently stuck on the bolt... One thing at a time...

I would be broke. And fired. 3 evenings on one bolt isn't very efficient. Lol.
