Yes, I can see. Probably rubbing in the rear. You an add a spring leaf and lift up the rear a little. That is the only suggestion I have

Thx, the shocks looks like they been on since 1996 so got new ones coming in. Might help a lil . Only hits on bumps .if not probably would do that at some point.

Was looking into different fender flares for front.
I didn't get a chance yet to see how much distance I really need yet.

You might check into flat fender flares

Air shocks would do the trick.

What's the distance from center of wheel to bottom of flare (that's the official unofficial measurement). If your leafs (sic) are flat, might want to consider slapping in new heavy duty ones. There's a few things that usually go awry during install but solutions have been discussed here many times. NBD, a little labor intensive and may need to tool up.

Harbor freight has some pretty decent grinder and sawzalls. Xj is the perfect platform to learn how to use them on.

metal from fenders can be trimmed near where the plastic flares mount. I was rubbing there and fixed that, 33x 12.5 tires, but I am lifted! still have the stock flares, but my tires do extend beyond them, which is not legal in some places.

Assist or helper gas shocks can add a bit of lift which might be all you need. I raised my van a tad bit with gas assist shocks. Easy fix, and easy to undo if you dont like it.
