1990 Cherokee RSX lift..... What ya think
Hey guys
Im new to the whole cherokee thing. I got a 1990 Cherokee a few months back and have wanted to lift it ever since... well a few days ago i was going thru some of my car stuff i had laying around and found a set off coilovers for the RSX type S i had... well i have decided to lift my Jeep with them.... The spacer looks just about right and hopefully will give me the clearance i want to run 31' Im junking a ford ranger and will use the rear leaf springs to build a Bastard pack.... Will post picks up..
How many spring should i use of the ranger?
should i go XJ ranger Xj Ranger or just stack the ranger leafs ontop of the XJ?
Sorry if the question are noob as I am a noob when it comes to 4x4 worked on lots of cars just never lifted anything

so you stacked the cheap ebay spring on top of your factory spring? hmmm... I have ever seen that before... I dont know how safe it will be... my worry will be that it will pop out of the coil and... I mean its wont kill you well actually it could if you were in the process of a corner...
a better option would be a set of coil spacers... they are really cheap ($30 to $75 depending and manufacture and height) and can be made at home for less that $10 a pair in materials

those are just a cheap universal coil over kit... you take out your stock springs and that tube mounts over your shocks... I know a guy that bought them for his M3... the rear end bottomed out the shocks just sitting still
but the OP is, from the looks of it, just using the adjustable part as a spacer...
