Default 12.5in wide tires on 4.5in RC lift

3.75 backspacing. These won't rub the LCAs will they?

they can. If the rustys arms arent bent in at all, they can rub. I rub both LCAs on my claytons arms (straight, no bends) with 12.50s and 3.75" BS

I run 33x12.5 Duratracs and have the RE 3.5 lift, no control arm rubbing at all.

Haven't got the lift yet. It comes with RC LCAs.
These are x terrain tires if that makes any difference. I'm trying to get them on the cheap. If not then I'm going with some treadwright howlers, 265/75 or 285/75 backbones. Maybe you can tell me what backspacing I would need? My other thread didn't help really. I don't want to rub at all and would like to be able to go with 11.5in wide tires just to keep my options open. Does having 3.75in as opposed to 4.5in make rub more or less likely?

3.75 is less likely to rub than 4.5"
