My question is I want to gain one more inch of lift. I have 4" Tomken ultra flex kit under my 1989 XJ. I am looking at Rubicon Boomerang shackles that they say gains one inch. http://www.quadratec.com/products/16311_5600.htm.Then coil spring isolaters for the front. I have Nitro 2.0 shocks on this jeep sizes for 4" to 6" lift so I'm not worried about that. I am also going to order new brake lines. I just would like to hear your guys thoughts on this.
Thanks

I'm curious as to why only one inch. There is a good bit of labor involved for minimal gain. You have to take the whole front apart to put in the isolators.

You could be done with it by the time you finished typing this cute little thread.
Go lift your Jeep and be done with it.
and please don't take the entire front end apart to install a coil isolator. Just pull the spring out and be done.
Hurry, you're running out of day light.

he wants one inch for the look I'm guessing, probably something that fits with his wanted tire combo, or hes got a buddy one upping him. if you've got stock steering still you might wanna look at that, otherwise everything sounds good.

it depends whether your tomken lift included shackles for that lift height.
the rubicon express shackles only gains one inch lift over stock shackles.
as for the front, just pull your coils, slide isolators up the bumpstop and reinstall coils.
you may or may not need a one inch trans drop.

I'm hung like a buck gerbil by the way. Lol.
I went from a 31" tire to a 32" and I have a tire rub issue. I played around with it and 1 inch fixes the rub.

lol!
What bump stops are you running?
It's usually much more practical to trim a little or bumperstop more instead of lifting the Jeep higher.
I run 31's on 3 inches of lift and it doesn't rub at all. You should easily run 32s on 4"
