Quick Question: About to swap out and put in a WJ power steering pump and was wondering where I can get a 1/2 to 3/4 step-down fitting to connect the new pump to the existing hose from the top nipple of the reservoir. From what I gathered you should connect it to the 1/2 port as you would in the WJ to prevent any bubbling in the system.
I am also going to drill out the brass fitting to 3/16"
Thanks!

Can you show me exactly what this fitting is called and what it looks like? Will I be able to buy it from A/C hardware or NAPA? I went to try to find it yesterday but nobody knew what I was talking about.
On another note, the return and high-pressure hose were so rusted that they both snapped off the gearbox like a twig. I PB blasted them several times yesterday and hit them with MAP torch but only managed to get one off. Many of these suckers are on there good.
Can anyone suggest how I can get the last broken and rusted return line off? I bought a crowsfeet set but it was almost $70 @ HD bc I had to get these off asap but I really cant afford it right now and would like to return it rather than use it.
Some say to use vice grips, PB, heat then tap....I was wondering how else I can go about this. Any suggestions?
Thanks again guys

I just watched both those videos.. The 1/2 is the bigger hose that will go on the WJ pump return.. The XJ box return fitting is smaller... So no..you've got the wrong one.. you went from big to bigger not smaller...
