Have a dumb project underway--diesel into FSJ Wagoneer. Part of project is swapping dash from '06 Grd Cherokee into FSJ. I have dash and wiring harness from '06 along w fuse box/plug from chassis of '06, and fuel sending unit from '06 to work w fuel gauge in cluster from '06. Wire colors from sending unit not matching wiring harness. Anyone have wiring diagram for sending unit in '06? Any other advice on hurdles I will encounter w dawn swap? I'm stuck.

I don't know if those dashes are swappable... I know with some minor wiring changes you can swap a '97-'01 XJ dash into an '84-'96 XJ or '86-'92 Comanche MJ.

 

Sorry guys. I did say I was swapping in a dash from '06 Cherokee...It's not a swap. I'm transplanting the dash from '06 into the '89. Physically, it is installed, with only a few minor modifications. The real work is in splicing it into the existing wiring of the '89, so back to my original question: does anyone have wiring diagram for '06 Cherokee so that I can complete the transplant?

 

You might have better luck on http://www.nagca.com/ most of us don't have anything that new.Or buy a book that shows the wiring for it is all i can think of.
