so i just put 35s on my xj, and when i had them balanced, the guy told me that one of my wheels was tweaked from the inside, so the wheel sits crooked on the hub. im getting massive death wobble, and would like to see if i could find another one like the ones i have. ill post a few pics.

put that wheel on your back passanger side for now.... it should help with the problem your having... but do find a wheel soon... they aren't that much new and 4 wheel parts has them in stock

i dont know why i didnt think of that. i dont really have that much money for a brand new one right now. was hoping to find one for like 25 bux. ill have more money in 2 weeks

find the bent one... Get a B.F.H and beat that thing straight... Or put it on the pack like the other guy said.

Why would you get a BFH that wouldnt fix anything....better to just buy another wheel

RRDirtyHarry 11-24-2012 03:59 PM

lol im trying to find one exactly the same. except i dont think ill find a red one. or a very cheap set of 4 wheels

supermini99 11-24-2012 04:12 PM

4wheel parts sells them and i think they have them in stock

NWhunter 11-24-2012 10:07 PM

Frank, supermini is right... if your bent wheel is on the back... There's something else causing Death Wobble dude.

NWhunter 11-24-2012 10:09 PM

btw... We gotta all meet up sometime... Who's house can we use down south were you guys are at?

RRDirtyHarry 11-24-2012 10:22 PM

It was on the front. Just moved it to the back today. About to drive and test it now.

RRDirtyHarry 11-24-2012 10:33 PM

Well so far so good. Got it up to 45 without any issues. Can feel the rear end wobble when taking a 90° turn. Ill test highway speed in a bit.

RRDirtyHarry 11-24-2012 11:13 PM

Well its a lot better. No more wobble.
