I ran this 4" lift on my Jeep for about 5000 miles. After it broke in, I think my Jeep rode and handled well. I removed this lift setup because...get this: my insurance company (Ameriprise) refused to insure my Jeep with a 3" or greater lift. I also had to remove my winch. And this is with liability only. Bastards.
So...my loss would be your gain. Setup consists of:
1. Basic 3" RC AAL spring kit: front coil springs, rear AAL installed into factory XJ spring pack.
2. 1" composite spacers for front coils (not shown)
3. RC 2.2" shocks. These things are really beefy. I hated to remove them, but at my current ride height they have no up-travel left.
4. Homemade shackle relocators that use the factory shackle bolt as well as the trailer hitch bolts; sandwiched in between the hitch and frame. These are very stable, super-solid and really improved the ride over the factory shackles.
$300 for all. Located in Olympia. Willing to meet w/in reasonable distance. PM for info.
