Found my Cherokee!!!!!!!!!!!
About 8 blocks away. Busted windows, interior is a mess, steering column needs replaced...... but no body damage evident.
Will know more in about a week after the police have a look.
Lots of evidence left inside the vehicle, so we'll see.
Some of the stuff left behind looks like stuff from a B&E, ID from some other poor sucker.

Thanks for everything.
Will keep you informed on how it goes. Love to wheel with ya, pickles.

Glad to hear you got it back! I hear "Amigo's" auto wrecker in saskatoon has a great selection of vehicles if you need parts.

I live two hours away in Regina but I have friends in saskatoon. How long will you be in sask for?? I have a pair of factory front tow hooks/bumper mounts I will be removing in about 2 or 3 weeks when my new bumper arrives that I will no longer have any use for

Thanks.
Waiting to hear the insurance estimate.
Steering column with ignition is an easy fix for us backyard guys.
But who knows what ICBC will decide. May be a write off and then all the issues with mech inspection, etc

If I have to buy her as salvage......
and get the wife a new ride (it was 'hers' kinda... I got my old Harley...)
who knows where that will go?
Perhaps she may not be 'good looking' for long!
I've seen what some of you fellow Canadians have done to your XJs. Not pretty, but ... er... efficient?
Thinking longarms, big winch, 37"ers,.....
