Do you bring the Jeep often? Trying to think if I've ever noticed it before.. I always try to wave at other Jeep's (including Wranglers and JK's) if I see them on my drive.
I might end up driving past your area on my way to Oshawa if I end up going lol.

Good to see more then a few Islanders on here!
Born in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, raised on Salt Spring Island, BC, currently living in Victoria. Every couple of years or so I get out to Kamsack, SK to see my dad. Don't drive what most would consider a Cherokee, though it's been referred to as an EJ & a Cherokee "Deluxe"

As for info, just ask!
They're pretty sweet cars stock, especially if you're willing to make a few minor changes (ie, remove all that stupid 80's emission junk, carb upgrade/swap, bypass the ECM, switch the front axle & t-case to shift-on-the-fly, if it isn't already). They're relatively heavy cars, about 3400lbs or so, so they do really well in the snow, & they're very solid, which makes them quite safe. I know one guy who hit some ice & took out a couple small-ish trees before his car finally buried its nose in a snow bank (crumpled one front fender & bent the front sub-frame), but he was able to drive (limp) it home. Another got t-boned by a drunk driver in an Astro van that had run a red light, & not only did he & all four of his passengers walk away unscathed, he continued to drive that wagon for months after (though the passenger side doors never did open again :P ). They've got decent ground clearance, but are still easy for shorter/delicate people to get in & out of. The drivetrain is basically 80's Jeep (258 engine, TF998 trans, NP128/129 t-case), so the most PITA parts to find are for the IFS, but even that's still quite manageable. About the only thing I don't like about them is the general attitude of the people on the big Eagle forum, but, it is to be expected of a fan site, so I just shrug that off, for the most part (there is one very bad apple there, constantly scamming people, yet we can't seem to get rid of him - but that's a rant I'll leave for private messages or general topics
haha)
