Basic List of items for this trail run:

- At least 1 tow point
-Your own basic tools
-any spare parts and fluids you might need
-Fire exstigusher

Not required BUT should try and have
-CB
-Cell phone
-GPS or Compass


These are the very basics you should know what you will need If you don't, ASK..

A stock XJ is a very able platform.

And with a good spotter (when needed) you can go alot of places.


I personally grew up around wheeling since I was 3. So I have over 30 years of wheeling knowledge and no how. I've been known to go places in a stock rig that some can't get in a heavy modded rig..

Biggest thing is listen, pay attention and have fun..

Should I make it a pole on these 2 date sets?

I want to try and lock in dates soon so I can lock in the # of camp sites at the camp ground ..

Dylan can take my hitch on my jeep off and put it on his jeep for the trip so he'll have a recovery point. And my last exam is on April 30th in the morning 10:00-12:00. So if we go on that weekend, I'll be up there later in the afternoon on that Friday.

Well the first day is always the arrival day..

When I set up a 2 day run I plan in a 3rd day at the beginning. That way we all have time to set up camp sites and meet and just kick back and get to know each other. Makes it so you have a better idea of how different people will act on the trails..


*Side Note: I'll be getting GPS track of some of the best trails in the Grayling area. There coming from a member of GLFWDA that heads up0 the Hummer trail runs..*

I'm in I can make any of those dates work I'm pretty sure. Won't be positive until we get closer but I can work around things. So mark me as "Going"

You can put me down for two possible guests as well. 2 other jeeps that is. They aren't on the forum but are interested in going and I would rather account for them than not have enough camp sites to have somewhere for them to sleep.

ill be going, but if it doesn't make or brake the discount at the campsite, i'd like to stay with family in grayling. if that all right with every one.

No one is required to stay at the camp ground. But at least make time to hang out there.
I'd like us to plan at least 1 meal as a group say Saturday night. Other meals can be fixed together but each will do there own thing. I'll get a plan for this put together over the next few days.
