Blessing Update

Parking is going to be different this year. Working on a trailer parking lot and then you will drive in your jeep. We will be starting with 4 lines and a pre reg line. There was a pdf map up last year and we will have one soon. It is hand drawn. We are planning so far to have venders below. Registration and Tees will be up top. I will post any changes.
So what should you expect at the Cadillac Jeepers Jeep Blessing?
8 am Gates will open for parking. We are going to start with at least 4 lines to try to get everyone parked as quickly as possible. At the beginning of the line you will be given a registration form to fill out when you get to the entry we will collect cards and the entry fee will be $5 per adult.
Once parked you will need to go to the registration tent for signing up for the Master Drivers Course Fee is $20 per driver. Bring your vehicle number and your drivers licence and be ready to fill out the registration form witnessed by a notary. Your Master Drivers Course fee pays for our event insurance and the upgrades to the course every year.
Registration Tent is also where you can purchase your Blessing Tee Shirts.
There will be Vendors from offroad and jeeping companies. Check out all the jeeps and take a look at the Master Drivers course.
The Blessing will start approximately 11:30 am at the mainstage on the top of the hill. Pastor Chad of Chadville be officiating. Christian Music at the main stage.
After the Blessing there will be a Drivers Meeting and the Master Drivers course will open. Kids games are free from 1pm to 3pm Free Cotton Candy, Bounce House, More to be announced.
Guinness World Records attempt for the longest Parade of Jeeps. Line up starts at 4pm. This is a tentative event dependant on an adjudicator being available from Guinness. Watch the web site for updates.
10% our more of our gross is donated to charities. 2009 charities included 9 food pantry's in the Cadillac area, CareNet of Cadillac. We also contributed to the North American Snow Festival purchasing savings bonds for the children that participated in the Kids Pageant. The balance is used for the next years Blessing expenses.

We will be there with bells on!!! Oh, and new Jeep... grrr... Plus a few more from our club and 2 old farts (IE my father in law and uncle in law)

Well I might not be making it after all, my grandfather just past away yesterday. If the funeral is Saturday I will not be make the Blessing... Not been a good week so far...
