Just don't do the mistake I did and go too cheap like FALKEN High Country or whichever it was I bought for my 2500 HD Duramax Chevy. Those tires showed EXTREME WEAR after 12k miles.

Im a big fan of Duratracs. Wheeled them in snow, sand, rocks and mud with good results. Mud is definitely they're weak point, but they're a great all around tire. Good road manners too.

I hated my dyratrscs on my truck..the sidewall is extremely weak. I went through 3 tires because the sidewall was punctured. On just mild country trails and in the woods. If just used on the road and mud they would be good but not for me. I like bfg or mucky Thompson atz3

I like the Duratracs, I've done Kelly, they were OK, I've done BFG's again OK. I pondered what I wanted for the HERO and took a chance on some Kenda AT's. After reading through plenty of reports and reviews on them I pulled the trigger. I've been surprised at everything they've held up to so far. They are actually aggressive for an AT, but WAY quieter than BFG's; Girl loves them so far too. They are very close to another BFG tire, but more aggressive. Also quiet a bit cheaper.

I am very happy with my Goodyear armortracs. the most off-roading they've seen is wet grass and they destroyed a back yard with minimal effort. they're absolute monsters in the snow. no idea on anything else. it's a pavement pounder.
edit: I have about 30k miles on them and they still look excellent.

I also live on a farm and do know about mud/snow and cow **** in the pastures after 30 yrs and found that you really need an MT and not an AT tire. The AT's do not clean out as well and become stuck more easily than the MT's will.
Checking/feeding cattle is a job and not a fun thing like so many of our rigs are. Nothing worst than getting stuck a long way from the house and having to walk back to get a tractor to pull yourself out, been there done that.
A cheaper MT tire that will get the job done may be a better choice than a more expensive AT that's iffy at best in mud but may get more mileage. My MT's that I run now are quite good on the highway with a very aggressive pattern yet drive well and not all that much noise.
