You show up to your buddies house, and the donor Xj he has is sitting in the middle of the pond cause it rolled out of his garage while he was working on it, and the whole situation doesn't surprise you one bit. It drug him in with it so he was already soaked so I just handed him my winch line and back in he went to hook it up so I could drag it out, lol.

Hahaha that's great!!!
YMDAXJ if you consider driving through the shallow part of your pond, then you remember getting your feet stuck in that part so you decide against it

After we pulled the XJ out, i considered taking mine thru the pond but then realized it probably wasn't the best idea cause i had to drive it home and if it got stuck we had nothing to pull it out with quickly if it got in too deep.

ymdaxji you get excited when the lady giving you a college tour says she also drives a jeep, then you get dissapointed when its a wrangler on stock suspension but a pretty big body lift.

Paid 800 for my recent 99 classic project. 350 for a running motor to throw in it. So 1150 for a running Xj. 800 for lift kit, 175 for a set of 16 inch moabs, 580,50 to get them powder coated 120 for an adjustable track bar, 120 for an sye. So yeah 1795.50 in mod parts and I'm forgetting some stuff but with the condition it's in currently I could still make money off it if I wanted to sell it but I don't.

When you are leaving work, turn the key and it doesn't crank so you immediately grab the crowbar from next to the seat, crawl under and hit the starter a few times, and it starts right up.

Carrying tools is a safety net/comfort thing. I don't doubt my work, I just like being prepared, nothing wrong with that.

You might drive an Xj if you see a crusty looking trailer in someones yard made from the back half of a comanche and wonder if it has a D44. Then wonder if you could talk them into getting rid of it.
