When you count the XJ's and other Jeep varieties on the way to work (or any other destination) and you can tell the "local" XJ's from the out of town folks.

You go to the junkyard aka the playground to get a part and walk out with other parts you didn't know you "needed' and completely forgot about the part you initially came in for.

You know you drive an XJ when you gladly give a full lecture when someone asks "Whats the big difference between a Cherokee and a Grand Cherokee?"...

When you randomly walk to your driveway and pop the hood to check the oil and other fluids just to be sure and to make you feel like you did something with it today.

you go to the junkyard to get your lift.

when you're mudding and stuck your passengers warn you "it's overheating!" and you say "it always does that" and then keep on keepin' on.

You know you drive an XJ when you roll down the window and it sounds like your Jeep is farting...

...when you flip the right turn signal to get the guages to come back on

...when you have a rust spot on the passenger door

...when a friend borrowing it requires a class on how to operate the "subtle nuances"

Haha I seriously thought someone squished your arm in the door. But after taking a closer look, this both saddens me, and makes me laugh.

When your interior fuse block looks like a blob of melted plastic, but somehow still works...
When you need a crow bar to tighten the serpentine every couple of days...
When you know that perfect spot to kick the inteirior pannell to get your windows to roll up...
