You know you drive an XJ when you see another XJ get all excited and your passengers look at you like you have serious problems.
This ones true. You know you drive an XJ when you get pulled over for a muddy license plate the officer tells you he has one and to pull over farther he knows it can take it.

you know you drive an xj when you finally can afford a cheaper DD and after one week of driving it to work you want your jeep back no matter the fuel costs.

You know you drive an XJ when you kick your beloved jeep out of frustration, some rusted out part of your rocker panel falls off, and everyone is looking at you like you are crazy as you profusely apologize to your Cherokee. (Working with this cold had me a little bitter tonight.)

You know you drive a XJ when:
Your wife notices what you did with it on your way home from work when she walks past it in the drive way, and agrees it does look better covered in mud (not clean)
You are still up 7hrs. after getting home from working a 14hr shift reading this thread, and will most likely be up for many more hours reading other threads...
If after 53 pages and 791 posts you agree that at some point in time 90% of the statements have been true... even if you've only owned your XJ for a year...
You don't mind volunteering to hit up the junk yard to get parts for friends that are overseas, just to give you an excuse to cruise the JY... (99+ Intake upgrade coming up next trip there)
If your stock rear suspension is sagging due to the weight of the lift kit and other parts you have picked up and are waiting for a few more parts and some time to install them...
