xjtalk was started when one of the original moderators of this site got all butthurt because the founders didn't give him full control of it.
at least i think it was xjtalk.
after this place was started everyone and thier mom wanted to start their own cherokee forum and within like a year after we had like 8 new xj sites lol.

I was primarily on NAXJA after starting to modify my XJ then started visiting CherokeeTalk.com and was later asked to be a moderator. Once I started my own site I felt the right thing to do was resign as moderator on CherokeeTalk.
I haven't read down through this thread completely so maybe all this has been explained, but I felt it was important to set the record straight myself.
Actually no. I started xjtalk.com because I didn't like how members of various Jeep Cherokee sites were being treated. They'd ask a simple question and replies like "Did you search?" "That question has been asked before..." and "This is an OLD post..." Just rubbed me the wrong way. So instead of trying to complain about it to the various sites, and since I had the technical skills, I just started my own.
