Default XJs have a hood that only The Hulk can open...

Popped the hood on my wife's Patriot and almost yanked the release handle off.

I've never thought twice about how there's like 20 pounds of pull required to pop our XJ hoods. Both my XJs feel the same. Anyone else ever notice this?

Btw, if you haven't seen the avengers yet, do it now.

I have hood pins. No cable or anything of the sort.

Saves weight so I can go faster.

Releas Handle. Mines well lubed and very little pull required. Spray it with KY or alternate..
Lifting the hood, yes that's for callin in the Hulk.

It's true some xj hoods are pretty tough to pop.

get a new cable before it snaps and you are screwed.. these things are nearly impossible to get the hood open without the cable without damaging anything.

ive had many xjs where it requires barely any effort at all to pop open.

I'm actually in South Dakota now. One of my XJs is from kalkaska, mi. I suppose the cable gets rusted.
