Default XJ for tall people?

I'm seriously looking into picking up one of these, but I want to know how well a 6'4 person can fit into it?

My coworker is 6'4" 300+lbs, he is cramped riding shotgun. The seats just do not go far enough back for good leg room. Head room is okay.

I'm 6'3'' and driving is fine (haven't tried any other seats for obvious reasons).

ive heard if you get a set of seat rails from a grand cherokee they bolt in and allow the seat to move back farther

I'm between 6' and 6'3 depending on who you ask, I have no problem with leg room (of course I've been tall all my life and got used to being cramped at an early age) head room on the other hand sucks, but that's due to the sagging headliner.

I'm 6'4" and have about an inch or so of headroom. I guess you could say the legroom isn't the perfect length, but I no where near complaning about it. I think an XJ is fine for someone of my height. Best thing to do would be to go sit in one and decide for yourself.

I'm 6'2 and fit fine. My buddy who is 6'4 250 drove my truck and he fits. They make fat boy brackets that push the seat even further back I believe.

My roommate is 6'1" or 6'2", and fits in his MJ fine. A buddy of mine is about the same height, and fits comfortably in his XJ.

I'm only 5'9", but like to be more stretched out than most people my height in vehicles (I have fairly long legs), and I'm perfectly fine in my XJ.

Look for a two door if you're of larger carriage, it can be kind of tight sliding in between the steering wheel and door post while trying not to bang your head on the drip rail. The larger door opening on the two door helps a lot.

I'm 6'1 and mine is great. I also have a sagging headliner, but that can be fixed with push pins. I drove a miata too lol

If the headliner is saggy like a lot of XJs are, it'll be sitting on your head

I'm 6'6" and well built, Seat back steering wheel one click before full up. Flip the rear view mirror upside down and you're golden! The more you lift the easier it gets to get in and out.

6'1 here, its fine for me. You can pull the headliner out if it's an issue for you. almost an inch of headspace gained, with me.

This. I'm 6'3 and its sooo much easier to get in and out of my 2 door than any 4 door i've ever drove.

And heres a link to the big boy brackets just in case, however with the seat all the way back i have plenty of room in my jeep.
